In the bluebonnets we set
long time before sunset
to pose for meme
it just had to be..........

We were on our way to winnsboro
and in a hurry
but, Oh! MOM was glad we did not scurry

Nicholas, " Mom still wants you back!!"
It now feels like "Black on blue," 
whenever I miss you 

We now have this picture
of you in the bluebonnets
long after you had to go
off into all the beautiful sunsets
you are now pure as snow

Are there bluebonnets there?
Do you still know we care?

The picture of you, in the bluebonnets
reminds me in disbelief
of the beautiful, magical sunsets
and all my grief.

I can only imagine you sitting in the most beautiful bluebonnets
starring at all the colors of the most awesome sunset, and then
at night, that mystery of the black and blue of the full moon....
"Is is then, you still think of your Mom?"  I hope so, son, I hope so!
